airDefender® was born in the aftermath of the 2003 SARS outbreak in Hong Kong. The company aims to continuously find solutions through innovative products as essentials to increase hygiene awareness.
Unlike common disinfectants, airDefender is a long-lasting antibacterial and antiviral coating that kills and blocks 99.9% of viruses and bacteria as well as 99% of formaldehyde. Our advanced coating technology helps to keep buildings and infrastructure new and bacteria-free for up to 18 months in a single application.
The formula was developed using a NASA researched technology. airDefender was ranked by NASA in 2014 as top 3 out of 47 samples of Visible-Light responsive (VLR) TiO2 -based catalyst. Our formula's performance is 38 times better than other researched catalysts. In 2017, the company decided to bring this technology to people by developing a product that could be used daily on human skin and personal accessory surroundings. airDefender has passed oral toxicity and skin allergy tests by SGS. The newly patented All Day Antibacterial Solution provides an anti-germ protection for minimum of 10 hours up to 24 hours. It is non-toxic, alcohol-free, and hypoallergenic. Suitable for sensitive skin, children and elders.
